Do I need to change their dry food?
Not at all. Pip Portions is designed to go in alongside whatever you're already feeding — same brand, same bowl, same routine. Nothing else has to change.
Should I feed less dry food?
Yes — think of it as swapping rather than adding. A heart is real food with real calories, so take out roughly as much dry food as you're putting in. Every dog and every dry food is different, so use your judgement and keep an eye on their weight and condition.
How much freezer space do I need?
Less than you'd think. Each box is a bit smaller than a loaf of bread. Three boxes take about a quarter of a standard freezer drawer; six take under half.
How do I serve it?
Defrost overnight in the fridge. Once defrosted it keeps about 24 hours — treat it like a steak. Serve raw, gently warmed in a pan with a splash of water, air-fried, or microwaved for 20–30 seconds on low.
What's actually in it?
Real food only — restaurant-quality Australian meat with carefully selected vegetables and organic supplements, including green lipped mussel for joints and Atlantic kelp for digestion and coat. No fillers, no artificial flavours, no preservatives.
What if my dog doesn't like one of the recipes?
Change it. Your box is built from the five recipes and you can swap what's in it before any delivery — so if one is a hit and another isn't, load up on the favourite.
Is this the same as Club Pip?
Yes — Pip Portions is a Club Pip plan, just a smaller one. You get the same 10% member saving on every delivery, the same monthly member perks, and the same freedom to swap recipes, skip, pause or cancel. The only difference is how much arrives.
Can I pause or cancel?
Anytime, from your account. You can also skip a delivery, change how often it arrives, or move between plans if one or two hearts a day stops feeling right.
How much is delivery?
From $17, depending on where you are — up to $35 for very regional addresses. Because your food ships frozen, delivery costs the same whether you order three boxes or six.
